Cookstown's Coziest Chair Contest
Looking for a fun project this winter? Rescue a sad old chair and use your talent and imagination to turn it into a work of art.
Anyting goes... paint it, papier-mache it, bejewel it, dress it: add sewing, quilting, knitting, feathers, bells & whistles... make it your own unique seat!
Your chair could win a "Taste of Cookstown" gift basket from Cookstown and area businesses.

Local artist Christina Luck will be at the Cookstown Library from 12-2 on the following Saturdays: Feb 23, March 23 and April 20
Chairs will be on display in downtown Cookstown during Wing Ding June 1 & 2.

The Cookstown & District Chamber of Commerce is proud to present our 30th Annual Wing Ding June 1st & 2nd, 2013!
Dictionary definition of Wing Ding: A lavish or lively party or celebration
Our event captures the very essence of the meaning of Wing Ding! We are celebrating the beginning of summer with community, family, friends, neighbours, and visitors from all over Ontario!
The past two years we have had over 100 Vendors attend our event! This year we have added the "Innisfil Cruisers" on Sunday the 2nd, come see what other surprises we have in store for you! Make it a weekend event!

Coziest Corner in Innisfil
All merchants and residents of Cookstown have been invited to paint and display brightly coloured chairs at their front doors to make Cookstown the "coziest corner" of Innisfil.
